VALORISATION

The results are disseminated regularly to various bodies, in order to inform them on progress and findings of the project, in particular surveillance issues of relevance to the Montreal and the Kyoto Protocols.

These bodies are:

The dedicated users involved in the project;

Environmental authorities at regional, national, European and worldwide levels (e.g., through participation to international assessments such as WMO, EORCU, IPCC ..., press releases – if relevant);

The overall scientific community;

The larger public audience (e.g., publication of the UV index).

Validated time-series of geographical and spectroscopic parameters are archived locally and in international archiving centres (geophysical databases: NDSC-Data Host Facility/NOAA, EC-supported data centre NADIR/NILU, spectroscopic databases: HITRAN, GEISA), for further exploitation by modellers, satellite validation teams, etc.
